Economic security for women has always been an issue close to my heart. I've commemorated Equal Pay Day, attended discussions about equal pay and congressional budget deals, and interviewed a woman who played an indispensable role in helping American women gain pay parity. I've written about the topic several times, from what I would do with all that lost salary money to the feminization of poverty to the impact that raising the minimum wage would have on women.
